Colosseum from Street Canyon, Rome

I love to render this subject and come back to it regularly for the rich variety of impressions it creates as you move around it. Here the great amphitheater appears gigantic though only a small section of it is visible framed by the buildings of the passageway. The exterior takes on a rich orange color against the deep blues of the street canyon buildings in shade.
