Roman Forum

The Fora Romana is one of the best places to use the imagination to complete an incomplete picture. Like the Acropolis in Athens, the remnants of what once was provide structure for the viewer to contemplate the original architecture and the movement of people through it. This ink wash technique allowed greater focus on form, light and shadow as the fragments march towards the Coliseum.
